A June Morning

It is the month of the rose

The elderflower is fragrant in the hedgerows.

The meadow has not yet been mown and is studded with daisies and clover.

Banks of buttercups grow in the sheltered places
and Dog rolls in the coarse stems until she is dizzy.

The air is still and tiny rabbits stare at you.

Sunshine in June.

This last picture? it's wonderful.
You certainly have a way with a camera--as well as words.

I am envious--and enthralled.
